Back online

Yeah that’s right. I’m back online with my new Tata Indicom Broadband. I thought that Tata Indicom sucks big time in everything. But I was wrong. The new WiMax connection from Tata Indicom proves me wrong. The speeds are just fabulous and believe me that I have never experienced such good speeds (rarely with BSNL). I grabbed the 3 Months prepaid plan with unlimited usage and I am quite happy with this connection. :) . It’s been a week or two since I got the connection and till now no troubles connecting to the net… Well I have no clue about the CC or support, coz it has never given me the opportunity to call them up…! Well if this continues for me I would go with Tata Indicom for years

Here’s a glance of my plan;

The one highlighted in red color box is my current plan.

It seems to be costly (950/month) when compared to BSNL (750/month), but there are two advantages here. First it is Unlimited and the second thing is the speed. I just love the speeds it gives. Well it’s reasonable for me and I’m loving it… ;)

For those who are planning to get a new connection or would like to shift your provider, I would honestly recommend Tata Indicom. Switch to Tata Indicom and experience the difference… :P

    Just what I was looking for… I’m sick and tired of my AirTel connection.
    What’s WiMax, though?

    @Santosh
    Yeah, you’r right.. its a little costly…but happy with the connection.. ;)

    @Sameer
    Thats sad.. :(

    @Joseph
    Hmm.. Airtel..? I think Airtel BB isn’t bad in its connectivity… I was actually planning to get Airtel itself, but they told that there is no connectivity at the area I am currently residing… So had to go with Tata Indicom.

    And also WiMAX is the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access.

    If we were to judge purely on the basis of technical service, Airtel wins hands down. The service is excellent, until you have customer-support related issues… their customer care is run by the absolute rejects of the call-centre industry. Tech staff, on the other hand, are efficient, prompt, and they know their stuff.

    The sad part is, at some point or the other, you will be needing their “customer service”

    Yeah.. Me too have heard that their customer service is the best. They do follow up when you have any problem with the connectivity…
    As you say that at some point or the other the customer service is needed… This is true but not only with Airtel but also with other companies too…as there will be some or the other problem…
    Well I can only say that nobody is and can be perfect… :)

    I wonder when I’ll get my hands on a decent wireless net connection - EVDo/WiMax. None of them are there in Chennai. And to think Chennai’s a metro
