The Annoying Crow
Posted by Joel | Filed under General
A crow has built its nest on a tree that is growing right next to my room’s window and it f***ing annoys me so much that it starts crow-ing in the middle of the night. It does a job of an Owl, where it sits and crows at around 2am and I freakin’ get no sleep because of that.
(ya I know, owl’s don’t crow!)
Shut the windows, put extra curtains, covered with pillows but the damn irritating sound still enters my ears…
And this makes me feel like getting up and throwing heavy bricks at it and burn the tree out of there… Damn, if my parent’s weren’t at home I would have seriously shooed that crow away from there by throwing stones… But also destroying else’s house isn’t good too. (Need to think that way also)…
But I need to do something of this crow. 2am in the night? Is it kidding? Is it playing a prank on me? And that too, it doesn’t shut its mouth after crow-ing for a while. It crows 3 times, takes a break for 20 seconds (in which I think that it has gone…
) and starts again
. Damn! and this goes on till 6am… How the F in world am I supposed to sleep?
Can’t it just shut its mouth and go to sleep… (Do they sleep btw?
) or go somewhere else and do whatever it likes..! I am fed up… ![]()
Is there any way so that I can shoo this annoying piece of shit by not harming it? Any ideas? Any experts out there…?
Or may be I should use the crow chaser which you can see in the pic below..! ![]()

U know crows are supposed to be spirits of deceased family members in Bengali tradition.
maybe some one of ur ancestors wants to contact u. Or I agree with Arvind ..it may be the mating season…But 2 am is strange..cuz i have never heard any bird except owl to be a nocturnal one.

and ohh i sympathize with u fully..once had this experience with a pigeon and some sparrows but at morning time.

@Dinu: Ya, enjoy maddi, with the crow..!?
@Arvind: Damn, I’ll find one mate for it right now…I dont mind…(it should agree though..
) But just “GET THE HELL OUT OF THAT TREE…” >> to the crow! not you..
@Vishesh: Music? You call that music? grr… I would better listen to Akon rather..(no, that guy
) ok atleast to some idiot who doesn’t know to sing…!(not the crow plz)
@Rekha: Ya its problem is, it is MAD!!! no wonder its crowing in the middle of the night with breaks that too… And me looking into its prob? Let me get mine solved first…
@Dinu: Them? there’s only one there…One is only not enough and you bringing more by adding “them”?

And also I am Anti-Killer…
@Reema: Ya? you think so an ancestor who wants to tell me something? No please..! Now you scaring me..

I don’t mind if it crows in the morning..I wouldn’t have even bothered on how loud it is.. but not in the middle of the night..! heh! It drives me crazy!!!

Normally, if the crow crows at night, then it means that there are eggs and it’s guarding them… so, dont be surprised if after a few days, u hear extra chirping!
July 5th, 2008 at 10:39 am

@Rekha: Ya, I think I must do that..! But it was silent yesterday. I think it understood my problem too…

Funny, and i also pity you

But i think you haven’t suffered like me, once i touched a Crow’s nest and i was chased by the Crow atleast for a month. You could feel how annoying it would be to be chased by a small creature like Crow

Last night I’m thinking what the hell is this bird still screeming at at 2am!!! All day, all night - it’s sending me mad too. I also have a wanka neighbour 2 houses down with a bored young rottweiler too - barks and barks. Birds, dogs arrrghhh I’m moving lol!! Thanks for your site and understanding. I got scared the grim reaper was coming after me as this crow if going off all the time around me. HELP!! lol

You know it’s becoming a real problem. There was a thing on the news this morning that some sicko bastard cut the wings off a crow and it was found by a passer by. the animal rescue had to put it down. This is TERRIBLE and sooooo inhumane. They are such intelligent birds and if this CD works, I’m going to advocate here. I’ll keep you posted people - I’m gonna order a CD

I bought the CD - worked pretty well actually. Really fast delivery. I had the stereo in the house playing it full blast and sometimes I jumped out of my skin!! - I’m definately moving speakers outside. It worked great however, Give it go - for $20, they seem to hate the sounds!
